Common use

Modaheal tablets is a medicine that helps manage daytime sleeping issues and improves wakefulness. It is used to reduce extreme sleepiness and increase alertness during the day. This medicine is often prescribed for conditions such as narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and shift work sleep disorders. Narcolepsy is a chronic neurological disorder that affects the brain's ability to control sleep-wake cycles. People with narcolepsy may feel rested after waking, but then feel very sleepy throughout much of the day.

Dosage and direction

Take the Modaheal tablet orally, with or without food. Follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist carefully. Precautions

Significant hepatic disease: If you have significant liver disease, the dosage of the Modaheal should be reduced to half to avoid serious side effects.
Diabetes: Use caution when using Modaheal tablets if you have diabetes, as it may affect your blood sugar levels.
Heart diseases: The Modaheal should be used with caution if you have a history of heart diseases, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and shallow breathing.
Bleeding disorders: If you have a bleeding disorder, consult your doctor before taking Modaheal.

Contraindications

Drug interaction

Antidepressants: Avoid using Modaheal if you are taking antidepressants such as fluoxetine or sertraline.
Antipsychotics: The Modaheal should not be taken with antipsychotic medications like haloperidol or risperidone.
Antihypertensives: Modaheal may interact with antihypertensive medicines such as enalapril or metoprolol.

Missed dose

If you forget to take your regular dose of Modaheal, take it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.

Overdose

Taking too much Modaheal can lead to serious side effects such as increased heart rate, high blood pressure, and anxiety. If you or someone else accidentally takes too much, seek immediate medical attention. Contact your doctor or go to a nearby hospital.

Storage

Store the Modaheal in a tightly closed container at room temperature. Keep it away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight to maintain its effectiveness. Ensure that children cannot access the medicine by storing it in a secure location. Use Modaheal tablets before the expiration date.
